Author Gloria VanDemmeltraadt shares stories from her latest book, Memories of Lake Elmo, a collection of stories, gathered word-for-word with recordings and transcriptions of more than 120 long-time residents of the small town of Lake Elmo, Minnesota. VanDemmeltraadt says, “The most important thing I’ve learned through this project is respect and admiration for the people who have lived here and loved this town.
